I like to give credit due where it's due. This is a great little Motel. Very clean and comfortable. Totally budget friendly and conveniently located to all the amenities that you would need . The rooms are really clean good heater good channel lineup. the owners really do a good job at taking care of this place as does the manager Shirley . She is an amazing awesome person with a great personality that cares about people. A very decent mom and pop motel that I urge all folks not to pass up when passing through Elk Point South Dakota .Thumbs up to a good American run Motel. Let's support our local Mom and Pop Motels

Nice,quiet, very comfortable bed, nothing to extravagant just a simple room with a mini refrigerator and mini coffee pot. With 2 gas stations right next door it's very convenient for any food or drink you might want. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful It was a WARM Cozy overnight stay. I would recommend this place over any other in the city. Thank you Hometown Inn staff a d owners for being so kind and generous!

A couple months ago my family and I hit a deer near elk point. The police were nice enough to take me and the kids to the hotel. The hotel staff was very accommodating and very caring. They even called a Taxi for us to get to the nearest town. I’m very thankful for their service and the rooms were very clean.

Hometowne Inn was just what the name says. It's old & dated, but very clean & GREAT prices. Pet friendly was a big plus for me, only $10 extra. Had a mini fridge & coffee maker in the room. I could tell the room had previously been smoked in, but not bad. AC worked well, but was a little loud. To add to my post, I've made this my regular stopping point any time I'm out this way. It really is near perfect. I go out the end door & my dog can run & play in a nice grassy area. It's always been quiet & no problems.

I seem to be coming across this more and more lately. As Ray said back in April 2022, old school motel write down to the antique lock well maintained the staff are interesting have you ever get to speak to Ms Kaskey or Shirley in the morning, do it! Five stars all the way across!

Few days ago going back home from my road trip hit a deer totaled my rental. Police came and took me to this motel which was nice. The next day was trying to find a Uber or lyft to the nearest Enterprise but none was available. So the front deck lady was very thoughtful to gave me a ride herself to the enterprise. The most thoughtful thing I've ever experienced in my life, I will never forget this blessing.

Located just off I-29 and very easy to get to. Little Mom & Pop motel that is very, very clean! Beds were a little lumpy, but not too bad. Very, very quiet around this little place. Motel is older and a little dated, but the rooms are large. No breakfast here but coffee in the lobby. Recommend this little place if your looking for basic accommodations. Very nice lady that runs the motel. And we noticed they launder their bed spreads! Cost with tax was $72 and some change. Pet friendly. We recommend and will stay here again. Casey's right across the street.

I have stayed here several times through the years. Mom and Pop Motel. The rooms, Lobby, and the grounds outside are very well kept. Young lady that stays here and runs the place is so sweet. She does an excellent job.
